Skating: Snake 2 Left to 2 Right Inside Edge Toe-Heel Work Series

Ideal for playing two on one situations and lane changing. Consider the body to be a book, the front cover represents the visual side, the stick and upper body line angle (square to situation). The lower body (waist down) represents the back cover line which has a direction leg and and a power leg.

If the puck is left of the goaltender, the right leg will be the power source, the left leg controls direction. If the puck is left of the goalie, the left leg is the power source, the leg controls direction.

  1. Step 1. Square
  2. Step 2. Upper body square to left side, lower body in power position
  3. Step 3. Upper body square to right side, lower body in power position
  4. Step 4. Right inside edge c-cut 2x 
  1. Step 5. Transfer upper body to the right side, lower body in power posit.
  2. Step 6. Left inside edge c-cut 2x
  3. Step 7. Transfer upper body to the left side, lower body in power posit.
  4. Step 6. Right inside edge c-cut 2x
  5. Repeat
